1. I was very surprised by how he actually got the distance closed from him and the animal. I really like the dedication he has to get these pictures. Just for one picture he waited 18 days. Now that some commitment. I really feel like he got his point across by telling the the story of just that animal he was photographing. I really like had he out the pictures in black and white, it makes the picture more dramatic but not to dramatic.
4. There are a few rules present in this wonderful picture.one of them is balance. Balance is where everything is equal and it doesn't feel or look lopsided. Another rule in this photo is simplicity. The simplicity in this picture is how the back ground is just the same green (im guessing) plant. There's also not much going on in the picture just the gorilla staring off into the distance.
5. Nick Brandt uses a 120mm and a Cannon
6. Nick's reasoning for taking these photos is that e felt moved when he went traveled and saw the landscapes and the many different animals .Nick also wanted to do something different than everyone else. Nick wasn't really interested in the action packed photographs.
7. Nick's hope for taking these photos are for people to remember his picture of the animals of East Africa. I also think he wanted you to memorized with the natural beauty of East Africa.
8. "When people in Africa are poor and starving and there are no crops left to eat due to the deforestation and global warming leading to ever-worsening droughts, they cannot be blamed if they kill the last zebra walking through the bush for their family to eat."
